Novel Furrow Diking Equipment-Design Aimed at Increasing Water Consumption Efficiency in Vineyards

Productivity in viticultural practices is highly dependent on seasonal availability of rainfall and the efficiency soil water conservation strategies. Sustainable consumption has been regarded as a business, social, environmental responsibility, since resource becomes more challenging. The present research evaluates new agricultural equipment design, employed furrow compartmentalization works, with aim improving rainwater storage soil, reducing runoff erosion sloping soils. newly developed operates basis rigid memory employs cam-tappet mechanism, known for its high customization potential. system functionality improved by integrating enhanced hoe shapes, adapted demanding working conditions encountered vineyards. evaluated performance indicators showed an increased up to 7% effectiveness, while micro-basins construction 10%. diking phase integrated into weeding recorded low additional fuel only 3–5%, being appreciated farmers due constructive simplicity. As result, shown significant application potential increase deep vineyards reduce negative impacts climate change agriculture.
